James "Jimmy" Bowman

James ""Jimmy"" Bowman, age 75, of Dedeaux, passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2011 with his loving wife of 36 years, Bobbie Bowman, by his side.
He was born in Hillsboro, TN and had resided in Dedeaux for the past 36 years. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. His many ""critters"" will also miss his daily visits and feedings. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dedeaux and was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William H. and Bonnie Bowman, a daughter, Cindy Bludworth, a son-in-law, Dwight Braxton, and a sister, Jo Ann Johnon.
Survivors include his wife, Bobbie Bowman, his children, Gary (Susan) Bowman, Larry (Debbie) Bowman, Bruce (Kristi) Bowman, Sam (Marie) Ladner, Granval (Jerine) Ladner, Debbie (Mike) Gibbs, Kristy (Andy) Wise, Evelyn (Carl) Smith, and Kayleen Braxton, 23 grandchildren, and 32 great-grandchildren, his sisters, Brenda Brushaber, Judy Brushaber, and Rhonda Smith.
Visitation will be Saturday from 9 - 11 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Dedeaux. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am in the church.
Interement will be in Standard Sandhill Cemetery.
