Jim Bonn, 77, of Long Beach, MS passed away the morning of May 1st, 2023 after a long, weary battle with the terrible disease, Alzheimer's.
Jim was born June 15th, 1945, to James and Ruth Bonn in Toledo, Ohio. He was the oldest of 3 boys.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James & Ruth Bonn; and his brothers, Fred and David Bonn.
Jim is survived by his wife, Nancy Buckley-Bonn; three children, daughter Terri (Keith), Son Chris (Lois), and Daughter Cassie (Justin); and his stepdaughters, grandchildren, step grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Jim was a big man with a personality to match. He was a Father, Husband, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Uncle, and Friend to many. He was a lover of his family and his country; and loved driving fast cars, riding motorcycles, drag racing, bowling, playing pool, talking trash, having a good time, and enjoyed a good drink. He loved his family to the fullest and always let them know before leaving or getting off the phone with them. He gave the best hugs and pretty good life advice, mostly because he had been there…done that. He considered the people he liked and loved as "Good People" and never met a stranger. He was a competitive person to the fullest and didn't care who you were or what it was; he was going to try to win. Before Alzheimer's, he was a part of many organizations and was always on the go. He was an airman, salesman (of all sorts), truck driver, a part of the Mississippi Professional Investigators, Mississippi Professional Process Servers, and The Coast Cruizers … just to name a few. If you knew Jim, you know he loved classic cars and that Cruisin' The Coast was his favorite time of year.
