TSGT James S. Allred, Jr., USAF, Ret., age 66, of Gulfport, died Tuesday, February 23, 2010 in Gulfport.
Mr. Allred retired as a Tech Sergeant from the U.S. Air Force after serving in the Vietnam War. He loved playing golf, was a professional bowler and a member of the MS Gulf Coast Bowling Hall of Fame, an avid car collector and enjoyed Cruzin the Coast. He was a member of the Antique Auto and Engine Club. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James S. and Dorothy Allred.
Survivors include his daughter, Tracy (Roger Stanley) Dalton, his granddaughter, Savannah Dalton, all of Roanoke Rapids, NC, his brother, Guy M. Allred, Horn Lake, MS, a sister, Barbara D. White, Burnsville, MN, his beloved puppy """"Pee Wee"""", and numerous other relatives and close friends.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 28, 2010 from 6 -8 pm at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport. The funeral service will be at 10 am Monday in the funeral home chapel.
Interment, with full military honors, will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
