Jacqueline “Jackie” Marucci

Jacqueline “Jackie” Marucci, age 74 of Biloxi, passed away on April 8, 2022.

Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, Verdie Swendson and Joseph Edel; parents that raised her, Grace and Randy Swendson; and her brother, Robert Crovette Jr.

Jackie is survived by her son, Joseph Marucci of Biloxi, MS; her daughter, Mary Cuevas of Waveland, MS; her siblings, Jebra Driver of Bay St. Louis, MS and Josephine Williams of Texas; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren and numerous other relatives.

She was a native of New Orleans, LA, but attended school and was raised in Gulfport, MS. Jackie was an employee at Memorial Hospital Gulfport as a switchboard operator and a DJ at WGCM radio station.

Jackie was of the Catholic faith and attended St. Thomas Catholic Church in Long Beach. She had her favorite fishing spot that she would frequently visit where she loved to go fishing. Jackie had a great sense of humor, loved and adored her family and was a devoted Christian.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday April 12, 2022, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, MS 39503, with a visitation beginning one hour prior (from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m).
