Jacqueline Mary Malley "Jackie" Woodcock, age 86, of Long Beach, passed away on August 9, 2024.
She was born on December 24, 1938 in Dedeaux, Mississippi to Harvey Joseph Malley, Sr. and Nolia Shiyou Malley.
Jackie was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Huey P. Long Woodcock; her sons, Dale Ray Woodcock and Joseph Scott Woodcock, Sr.; her grandson, Crockett Lindsey Woodcock; her parents, Harvey Joseph Malley, Sr. and Nolia Shiyou Malley; her siblings, Harvey “Jimmy” Joseph Malley, Jr., Kenneth “Fat Boy” Wade Malley; and her nieces, Tammy Woodcock and Jimmy Ruth Malley Ulrich.
She is survived by her son, Timmy Woodcock (Denise); her daughter, April Perkins (Tony); her grandchildren, Monica Allen (Jimmy), Amber Allen (Lance), Mindy Moran (Chip), Stephanie Ladner (Kenric), Jennifer Scarmack, Huey P. Long Woodcock II (Ashley), Elisha Joe Woodcock, Joseph Scott Woodcock, Jr. (Samantha), Dakota Blake Woodcock, Misty Harris (Cody), Stephen Anthony "Tony" Perkins, II (Sarah), Karringten Perkins, and Pierce Perkins; her great grandchildren, Arieonna Fox (Austin), Kathan Allen, Shyla Allen, Kyleigh Allen, Kinsey Allen, Kane Allen, Colin Moran, Coltin Moran, Chase Ladner, Keelan Ladner, Paisley Ladner, Sierra Scarmack, Cayden Scarmack, Tyler Myers, Katelyn Myers, Joseph Scott Woodcock, III, Bryce Woodcock, Kalysta Woodcock, Tate Woodcock, Tinley Woodcock, Blayton Woodcock, Benson Woodcock, Daxtyn Woodcock, Carter Harris, and Turner Harris; her great, great grandchildren, Austin "A.J." Fox, Jr., Elizabeth Myers, and Nevaeh Myers; and her siblings, Jerry Malley "Rooster", Phillip Malley, Vallerie Wilson (Billy Jack), Lorielee Ladner (Sherman).
Our mom was a loving mother who loved to dance, watch basketball, and work in her flower beds, and especially loved Mardi Gras parades. She was best known in the 1980's and 1990's for her and Huey's Christmas displays in Long Beach at their home. She loved to vacation in The Smoky Mountains with her family

A family only visitation will be held from 8:30 - 9:30 AM on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach, with a public visitation from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM. The funeral service will begin at 10:30 AM in the funeral home chapel, followed by entombment at Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens.
