Jacqueline Louise Puzz, lovingly known as "Jackie," graced this world with her presence on November 5, 1941, in the coastal town of Biloxi, Mississippi. After a life filled with warmth, laughter, and cherished moments, she passed away peacefully following a brief illness on September 6, 2024, in Ocean Springs, Mississippi.
Jackie was a daughter to Jack and Isabell Schonewitz, who predeceased her. She is preceded in death by a daughter Janie Schonewitz. She was blessed with a lifetime of camaraderie from six siblings: Barbara Shavers, Perry Schonewitz, Vanessa Shavers, Rex Schonewitz, August Schonewitz, and Mary Woodcock, all of whom survive her, alongside her dearly departed sisters Judy Johnson and Annabell Wescovich, as well as her brother Bill Schonewitz.
Jackie's journey through life was adorned with the love of her family, including her devoted husband of 41 years, Andrew Puzz. Together, they cultivated a beautiful family, welcoming their children Jamie (Robert) Dunn and Andrew (Catherine Schwark) Puzz. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Hudson and Hunter Dunn, who brought immeasurable joy to her life and her canine companion Peanut.
An enduring spirit of kindness and community defined Jackie. She was an active member of the D'Iberville Moose Lodge, a gathering place where her energy shone brightest, and her fondness for playing Bingo created countless joyful memories.
