Jacqueline Denise Jackson

Jacqueline Denise Jackson, 69, resident of Biloxi, MS, passed away, Saturday May 4th, 2024. She was born in Biloxi, MS, on Thursday September 30th, 1954, the third of six children of the late Alfred and Vera Mae Jemison. Jackie attended Our Mother of Sorrows elementary school and graduated from Scared Heart Catholic Girls High School (Biloxi) and attended Jackson State Univ. Jackie was married to Louis Jackson and the supportive and loving mother to two children. Darius Quinton Jackson was born on Tuesday March 4th, 1980, and Marybeth Elizabeth Jackson born on Tuesday October 12th, 1982. Jackie spent most of her life here on the coast living in Biloxi, MS. Jackie spent most of her life working in the Hotel and Hospitality industry Managing several Hotels here on the coast.
Jackie was preceded by her parents Alfred Q. and Vera Mae Jemison, her sisters Priscilla Ann Clark, and Margaret Jemison Ramsey. Jackie is survived by son, Darius Quintion Jackson and his wife Nicole and her daughter Marybeth Elizabeth Jackson. Both residing here on the coast. Jackie was blessed with three grandchildren Malik Alexander Quinton Seymour, Aleekay Nickie Tapp, and Nehemiah Jamal Jackson as well as three brothers, Alfred Curtis Jemison and wife Debra, William Andre`Jemison and wife Sylvia both of Birmingham, AL and Joseph Dourve`(Squib) Jemison of St. Petersburg, FL and a host of relatives, loved ones and friends. Jackie loved sports, music, playing cards, traveling, going to the casino and being with her family.
 A memorial service will by held at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, 803 Division Street, Biloxi, MS, at 11AM, June 29, 2024.
