Jacqueline 'Jackie' Weis Arnsberger, age 61, born and raised in New York, died on Friday, August 10, 2007, in Gulfport.
She moved to the Mississippi Gulf Coast in 1977 and graduated from Chris' Beauty College in 1985. She was a beautician for several years before going back to college at Phillip's College, earning a degree in travel and tourism. She enjoyed casinos, dancing, cooking, and arts and crafts. She enjoyed family gatherings during the Holidays most of all.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert 'Robin' Weis, II; her mother, Margie Giannetelli; and a grandson, Matthew Baird.
Among those she leaves behind to carry her cherished memories are her children, Robyn Weis Baird of Gulfport, Robert 'Trae' Weis, III of Gulfport, Kymberly 'Kym' Weis Conn and her husband Randy of Saucier, and Joseph 'Scott' Weis of Gulfport; her grandchildren, Robert S. Weis, Robert W. Weis, IV, Ashley 'Nikki' Weis, Jacqueline Baird, Danyell Conn, Dylan Conn, and Joseph 'Joey' Weis, II of Gulfport, Benjamin 'B.B.' Simmons of Little Rock, AR; one expected great grandchild; one sister, Diane Zollo and her husband Tony of FL; and three nephews.
The family would like to give special thanks to the staff on the 3rd floor of Memorial Hospital at Gulfport for their compassion and wonderful care that they provided to Jackie and their family.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, August 13, 2007, at 10 a.m. in the Pine Ridge Garden section of Evergreen Gardens, 28th Street, Gulfport.
