Jacob Steven Morgan

Jacob Steven Morgan, age 32 and a resident of Long Beach, died on Monday, May 18, 2015, in Long Beach.
Jacob was a 2002 graduate of Long Beach High School. He attended the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, where he was a dedicated member of Sigma Chi Fraternity. Jacob's family was everything to him, especially his brother Ethan. He had a special bond with his brothers, sisters, and all of his cousins, and his nieces and nephew affectionately referred to him as ""Uncle Jake."" Jacob also dearly loved his furry friend and loyal companion, Breesy. Jacob was a diehard Saints fan who never missed a game. Not only was Jacob a wonderful brother and son, but he was also a friend to many. We will remember Jacob for his smile, his warm personality, and his laughter and his love that he brought to each of our lives.
He was preceded in death by his father, Steve Morgan; his mother, Sandra Kay Morgan; and his grandfather's, Wayne Morgan and Elton Sperier.
Jacob is survived by his brother, Ethan Morgan of Long Beach; his mother, Phyllis Ann Morgan of Long Beach; his brother, Michael (Jennifer) Gentile of Diamondhead; his sister, Megan Gentile of Long Beach; his maternal grandparents, Duain and Connie Blackwell; his paternal grandmother, JoAnn Morgan; his grandmother, Lee Sperier; his aunt Reba (Charles) Swartz; his uncles, Jerry (Ruby) Blackwell, Dennis (Monica) Blackwell, and Michael L. (Carol) Morgan and his aunt, Barbara (Nelson) DelToro and many other loving family members and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2015, at 3pm at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 19130 Commission Road in Long Beach. Friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Gulf Pines Cemetery in Long Beach
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to First Baptist Church, Building Fund, 300 N. Cleveland Avenue, Long Beach, MS 39560.
