Jack Sherman

Tulla Jack Sherman, age 57, of Pascagoula, passed away on December 28, 2019, in Pascagoula.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Patsy Ann Sherman; and his grandparents, Herman Kinmon, Carmen Kinmon, Solomon Everett Sherman, and Lula Sherman.

He is survived by his father, T.J. Sherman; his brother, Frankie (Robin) Sherman; his nieces, Jessica (Reid) Whittington, and Jeannie (Josiah) Ory; a nephew, Joshua (Ashley) Sherman; his great-nieces, Ann Grace Ory, Ellie Ory, Emery Ory, and Adler Whittington; a great-nephew, Asher Whittington; a special cousin, Julie (Michael) Farragut; and other aunts, uncles, cousins, coworkers, and many friends.

Jack was born in Laurel, MS and lived most of his life in Pascagoula.  He graduated from Pascagoula High School in 1981 and later attended MGCCC in Gautier and Gulfport.  He was employed as a Department Manager at the Pascagoula Wal-Mart for 31 years and has received numerous awards for his service and dedication.  Mardi Gras was his favorite time of year and he was a longtime member and former King for the Krewe of Dixie Dazzlers.  Jack enjoyed the beach and he had a love for music and travel.

The family would like to extend a special “Thank You” to his many friends and coworkers for their love and support during this difficult time.

A graveside service will be held at 10 am Thursday, January 2, 2020, in Machpelah Cemetery, Pascagoula.
