J.C. """"Toop"""" Parker, age 77, of Saucier, passed away on September 10, 2009 in Gulfport.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Devan Parker and Mary Jane Parker; a daughter, Kimberly Parker Renfroe; four sisters, Theresa Parker, Marie Daughtery, Wynona Moran, and Martha Jones; and two brothers, A.C. Parker and J.W. Parker.
He is survived by his wife, Alice Scarborough Parker of Saucier; his children, J.E. """"Bird"""" Parker and Jimmy Parker and his wife, Sharon, all of Saucier; and Debra Parker Heard and her husband, Frank, of Woolmarket; his sister, Bertha Mae Parker and her husband, Lamont, of Saucier; his brothers, J.D. Parker and his wife, Doris, of Gulfport, L.E. Parker and Sandy, and Rufus Parker, all of Saucier; nine grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
He retired from Struthers Wells and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was an avid softball coach.
A visitation will be held on Monday, September 14, 2009 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 12113 Highway 49, Gulfport. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Saucier Cemetery.
