J. C. Price

J.C Price, age 90, of Diamondhead, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2023, Diamondhead, Mississippi.  He was born on February 16, 1933, in Carney, Oklahoma.

J.C. is preceded in death by his parents, Abner & Gladys Price; his wife, Patricia Price of 60 years; his son, Douglas Price; his brothers, Floyd Price; Bill Price; Al Price; Don Price and Denny Price, his sister, Gayle Holeman.

J C is survived by his wife Marian Price of 7 years, his son, Derek (Joni) Price, his sister, Carol Annis, his grandchildren, Christina and Jason Price and 4 great grandchildren.

He graduated high school in McAlester, OK in 1951. J.C. attended the Oklahoma University from 1956-1959 with his bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering.

J C joined the United States Navy in 1952 and served in the Korean War. He was honorably discharged from service in 1954 and was awarded the National Defense Metal. 

He enjoyed traveling abroad, golfing, dancing and was an avid bridge player.

He was a lifetime member at the VFW.
