Isaac Fred Dale III, M.D. passed away on May 1, 2021 at the age of 65 in D'Iberville, MS.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Emily Joullian Dale and David Berry Dale, M.D.
He is survived by his wife, Lauren Drummond Dale; his loving children, Bradley Joullian Dale, Emily Grace Dale, Brian Ello Dale and daughter- in-law, Erin Lynn Dale; his sisters, Phyllis Dale Waring, M.D., Susan Dale, and Scarlett Dale; his brother, David B. Dale Jr. (Jeanie); one granddaughter, Emma Grace Dale; nieces, Betsy Waring, M.D., Allie Dale, Rebecca Dale and Jeanne Elise LaFontaine; and nephews, David B. Dale III, Johnston Waring, M.D., Gage Dale, Kyle Fields, and Matt Stebly.
Fred was a native of Prentiss, MS and a longtime resident of Ocean Springs. He was a 1973 graduate of Prentiss High School, attended the University of Southern Mississippi from 1973-1977 earning his B.S. Biology, then went on to Medical School at Tulane School of Medicine from 1977-1981. He was employed as an Emergency Room Physician for 37 years, and most recently was employed at the Biloxi V.A. where he was co-director of the Emergency Department. His many achievements include having his board certification in Emergency Medicine, serving as Chief of Emergency Medicine at Biloxi Regional Medical Center and Gulf Coast Medical Center. He was the past President of the Mississippi Chapter of American College of Emergency Medicine and was Medical Director of the Paramedic Training Program at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.
He was an avid outdoorsman with a passion for mountain biking, traveling and hiking. He had a love of history, geology, astronomy, nature, art and music and an even deeper love for his children and granddaughter.
Fred had a zest for life like few others. His positivity, kindness and love was felt by so many. He will be deeply missed.
The family would like to express gratitude towards the Gulf Coast medical community for their care, comfort and support of Fred throughout this past year.

A visitation for friends and family will be held on Thursday, May 6, 2021 from 12:30 p.m. until the 2:00 p.m. Prayer Service at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 502 Jackson Avenue, Ocean Springs.
