Iris Rury

Iris Regina Rury, age 73, of Gulfport, went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 15, 2008 in Gulfport.
Mrs. Rury was a native of Delhi, LA and had lived on the coast since 1967. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and was a member of Bible Baptist Church. Her hobbies included gardening, bird watching and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Embey Rury; her parents, Clarence and Gertrude Upton, and a brother, Bernell Upton.
Survivors include her children: Trudy (Ronnie) Fore, Sandy (Darlene) Rury, Leslie (David) Johnston, and Spencer (Tracy) Rury; 4 siblings, David Upton, Beth Dearman, Beverly Wills, and Sharon Rice; and 13 grandchildren: Aaron Fore, Jarred Fore, Clint Fore, Steven Fore, Nick Fore, Steven Rury, William Rury, Jacob Rury, Joseph Rury, Stephanie Blair, David Johnston, Jr., Matthew Rury, and Jacob Rury.
All services will be private.
Interment will be in Biloxi National Cemetery.
