Iris Christine Fairley McKean, 83, of Gulfport passed away on May 18, 2014 in Gulfport.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Leecie Fairley; brothers, Wilford Fairley and John D. Fairley; sisters, Ethel Legg and Lois Germany; and a step-son, Glen David McKean.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Robert ""Bobby"" McKean of Gulfport; her stepchildren, Wayne L. (Kim) McKean of Birmingham, AL and Jan McKean Guidroz of New Orleans, LA; grandchildren, Dawnita (Brian) Snell, Leslie (John) Bordelon, Christopher and Bryan McKean, and Sabrina Gevaert; six great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She worked for 31 years at Bell South as a telephone operator and was a member of Gulfport Telephone Pioneers and First Assembly of God Church in Gulfport.
The family requests memorial contributions to First Assembly of God Church, 2600 22nd Ave., Gulfport, MS 39501.
There will be a visitation on Saturday, May 24, 2014 from 9-10am at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport, MS with a funeral service at 10am in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Coalville Cemetery. RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Gulfport served the family.
