Irene Patricia Mills, age 72, of Diamondhead, passed away on January 28, 2019.
Mrs. Mills was born in New York, NY to Viola Careri in 1946. She had been a resident of Diamondhead since 1989. She was active in the Stitch Niche group and was a member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church where she was an active volunteer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Mills; her mother; and her aunt, Louise D'Amico.
She is survived by her children, Richard Carroll and Deanna Garvey; stepchildren, Peggy Wyland and Barbara Bergh; grandchildren, Elizabeth Ashleigh Garvey, Allie Wyland, Hannah Wyland, Kacie Bergh, and Caroline Bergh.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2019, at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church from 12:30-1:30pm. Services will follow in the sanctuary.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church or to the Humane Society, www.hssm.org .
