He was stationed there in the US Air Force. In 1954, she came with her husband to America. She arrived in NYC and immediately began the process of becoming a US citizen. She was very proud to be an American. Red, White and Blue were her favorite colors.
Inge was employed with the AAFES BX for over 30 years. She retired in 1995 as a store manager of the Mini-Mall on Keesler Air Force Base.
She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Biloxi, for over 50 years. She served as a Eucharistic Minister and was a member of the St. Vincent De Paul Society for more than 20 years. She was also a member of the Altar and Rosary Society.
Inge loved life. Her life was built around her family. Her hobbies were fishing, sewing, and traveling. She loved Mardi Gras, Christmas time, and spending time at the beach. She was happiest when she was surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Barbara (Kenneth) Fountain, David Wilson, and Tina (Brandon) Frith. She has five grandchildren: Christy Fountain, Kenny II (Jennifer) Fountain, Rachael (Dan) Burgess, Jenna-Claire Frith, Alex Frith, and she has six great-grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Kourtney, Kollin, Dean, Dallas, and Lillian-Rose.
