Inez Garriga

Inez Garriga, age 87, of Gulfport, MS, passed away February 14, 2025, in Gulfport, MS. She was born June 7, 1937, as one of ten girls, in Lamar County, Mississippi. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Houston and Nita Roberts, her husband, Eddie Garriga, infant son, Steven Carl, infant daughter Carolyn Ann, baby sister Lizzie Mae, five other sisters Mary, Helen, Catherine, Doris, and Juanita.

 Inez enjoyed sewing, gardening, reading, and drinking her coffee all day long. She was member of Central Missionary Baptist Church. 

Inez leaves her cherished memories to her children Susanne Garriga, Angela Garriga, and Gregory Garriga; three sisters Virgie Farve, Pearl Dubuisson, and Irene Ladner; five grandchildren Jacob Garriga, Tyler Premeaux, Christian Premeaux, Lynsey Garriga, and Alexus Garriga; one great grandson Gavin.

 The family will receive friends 1:00 – 2:00 pm, Wednesday February 19, 2025, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, MS. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 2:00 pm at the funeral home. The burial will follow the services at Evergreen Cemetery in Gulfport, MS.
