Ilene Provost

Ilene E. Sheridan Provost, 62, passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at her home in Kiln, MS.

Ilene E. Sheridan was born in Pearl River County, MS on November 1, 1959 to the late Huey O’Reese Sheridan and Vera Penton Necaise. Ilene was raised in Pearl River, LA. Ilene enjoyed gardening, spending time with her family, and sewing.

Ilene is preceded in death by her father, Huey O’Reese Sheridan; and her brothers, Leslie Reese Sheridan and Huey O’Brian Sheridan; and the father of her children, Lawrence Carnelious McNeill.

Ilene is survived by her mother, Vera Penton Necaise; siblings, Carolyn Singletary (Richard), Wade Sheridan, Marylou Sheridan Malone and Calvin Sheridan (Nicole); as well as her children, Michael Eric McNeill, Marie McNeill Wyatt, Lezlie Ilene McNeill Simmons (Stacy) and Gage McNeill (Courtney). She also leaves behind 13 grandchildren, Carlton Wilson, Austin Wyatt, Danielle Glenn, Sheridan Wyatt, Trinity McNeill, Ashlynn McNeill, Nevaeh Cagle, Brandy Cagle, Ellie McNeill, Avery McNeill, Wyatt McNeill, Dexter Simmons, and Shantel Simmons; and one great grandchild, Zariah Raye Dedeaux.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at 1:00 pm with visitation starting at 11:00 am at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd. Gulfport MS.
