Ildred Price, 90, of Gulfport, died Sunday, June 03, 2007 in Gulfport.
Mrs. Price was born in Bay St. Louis and remained a lifelong resident of the coast. She retired as Head Cashier after 35 years of service with Winn-Dixie Grocery Stores and she was a faithful member of St. Thomas Catholic Church. Mrs. Price enjoyed quilting, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Otho Prive, a son, Michael Price, her parents, Felix and Marie Favre Cospelich, 3 brothers, Archie Cospelich, Lou Cospelich, and Richard Cospelich, and a sister, Faye Clark.
Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Smith, Gulfport, 2 brothers, Cecil Cospelich, Long Beach, and Glynn Steele, Gulfport, 2 sisters, Eva Hagensee, Long Beach, and Myra Brune, Ocean Springs, 6 grandchildren, Garry Price, Denise Seaman, Regina Stutts, Susan Idigipio, Kris Amo, and Bernard Smith, 13 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Daughtery Road, Long Beach where friends may visit from 10 - 11 a.m.
Interment will be in Evergreen Gardens Cemetery.
