Ida Laverne Scarborough, age 77, of Gulfport, died Saturday, January 22, 2011 in Centennial, Colorado.
Mrs. Scarborough enjoyed cooking, crocheting, fishing, camping and dancing. She loved spending time with her family and she was a loving mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, William Earl Young, her 2nd husband, Otis Scarborough, daughter, Jeannie Phillips, son, Davy Young, all of her brother & sisters and her parents.
Survivors include her children, Daryl Young of Long Beach, Marilyn Sablich of Colorado and David E. Young of Gulfport; 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10 am to 12 Noon, Thursday, January 27, 2011 at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commisson Road in Long Beach. The Funeral Service will follow at 12 Noon in the funeral home chapel, with burial at Long Beach City Cemetery.
