Hunter Murphy

Hunter Paul Murphy, age 18, passed away June2, 2022.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Angela Manring; great grandfather, Al Bachler; great grandmother, Teresa Bachler; great grandfather, Joseph Murphy.

Hunter is survived by his parents, Ryan and Candace Murphy; his siblings, Trevor and Chloe Murphy; the love of his heart, Helena Melear; grandparents, Michael and Elaine Murphy, Donnie and Linda McCutchan; great grandmother, Betty Murphy; aunts and uncles, Mary Yates (Matthew), Sara Blum, Carol-Ann “NaNa” Willis (Tony), Melinda Beckman (Jim), Tricia Melear (Andrew), Shannon Murphy (Walter), and Ladonna Pinales (Andri); a crew of cousins that he loved so much, Macie, Travis (Destin), Autumn, Jason, Paislee, Mikayla, Cameron, Jeremy, Jo’Cee, Jacob, Zeke, Parker, Payton, Gracie, Maddiysn, Meadow, Hughie, Howard, and Tristian; best friend, Joseph Havens; and special families and friends, the Cuevas, Havens, Davis, Cutters, Ladner, and McKenna’s; and our family at Snowballs Shell.

Hunter received a high school diploma from Biloxi High School and a structural welding certification for MGCCC. He was a greatly accomplished and recognized guitarist. Hunter enjoyed fishing, music, being outdoors, hanging out with family and friends, and writing music with his mom.

We would like to extend a big thank you to everyone who has carried us in the most difficult time of our lives. We would like to extend a special thanks to those who have prayed over us, feed us, and been here to remind us of just how big God’s love is.

Hunter Paul, there will never be a moment, a song, or a chord that we will ever hear or experience, and not think of you. You will always be the song our heart sings.

Visitation will be on Thursday, June 9, 2022, from 12 pm - 2 pm at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport.  The funeral service will be at 2 pm in the chapel.  Interment will be in Finley Cemetery.
