Hugo Gottlich

Hugo G. Gottlich, Sr, born June 22, 1932, of Gulfport, passed away on January 5, 2012 at age 79.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank H. and Willie Gottlich; a brother, Joseph Gottlich; two sisters, Massippi Radau and Louise Stidham; one grandson, Noah Drake McCraw; and two great grandsons, James Michael and Anthony Cuellar.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Lou Gottlich of Gulfport; ten children, Hugo G. Gottlich, Jr (Ellida) of Justin, TX, David Gottlich (Linda) of Ft Worth, TX, Johnny Conner (Cassie) of Gulfport, James H. Gottlich and Gene Gottlich (Juanita), all of Ft Worth, TX, Ronny Conner of Mt Enterprise, TX, Judy Pique (Rick) and Donna Ingram (Walt), all of Gulfport, Karen McCarty (Jeremy) of Ocean Springs, and Jeremy Gottlich of Saucier; thirty two grandchildren, Rose, Venus, Theresa, Hugo, III, Cynthia, Tito, Mary, Michael, Susan, Sara, Ashleigh, Michael, Wendy, Alisha, J.J., Katrina, Robert, Jonathan, Shawn, Kayanna, Daniel, Erica, Desha, Brandon, Brooke, Cody, Canyon, Maverick, Julianna, Jacob, Hannah, and Baileigh; thirty great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren; two sisters, Mary VonKampen of McHenry and Doles Robinson of Gulfport; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was a longtime member of O'Neal Road Baptist Church, Gulfport. He retired from Colonial Bakery afer 20 years of service. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend and will be sadly missed by all who loved and knew him.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 8, 2012 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport. The funeral service will be held on Monday, January 9, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Dobson - Holliman Cemetery, Gulfport.
