Hubert Lizana

Hubert Earl “Dago” Lizana passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at the age of 88.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lamar Lizana and Lydia Sheffield, his daughters, Angela Lizana and Carolyn Lizana, his brother Robert F. Lizana, and his sister, Rosemary Stevens and his granddaughter Candice Lizana and his grandson, Justin Lizana.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Alma R. Lizana, his sons, Robert Lizana (Michelle), Gregory Lizana (Sherri) and Darryl Lizana (Karen) and also survived by his grandchildren, Heath Lizana (Amber), Erica Saucier (Carl), Brent Lizana, Heather Lizana, Hailey Lizana and Kevin Lizana and also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.

Dago enjoyed fishing, cooking and spending time with his family and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Monday, April 25, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, MS and the visitation will begin at 12:00 pm until service time. Burial will follow in Wolf River Cemetery.
