Hubert Aaron Easterling, Sr. passed away December 30, 2020 at the age of 58. He was born on March 23, 1962 and was a longtime resident of Saucier, Mississippi.
Aaron was married to the love of his life, Monica, for nearly twenty years. Aaron had two children, Hubert Aaron Easterling, Jr. (AJ) and Mary Isabell Easterling. One of Aaron’s greatest joys was being a Pawpaw to Hunter, his only grandchild. Aaron was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He found solace in the quiet of the woods while deer hunting, and enjoyed the peace and tranquility of fishing the Mississippi Sound. He marveled at God’s creation and often remarked how lucky he was to live in paradise.
Aaron is survived by his wife, Monica, his children, AJ and Mary, his grandson, Hunter, and his mother, Freda Easterling. Aaron was a devoted brother to twin sisters, Rhonda Cantu (Marty) of Rockport, TX and Wanda McKnight (Brian, Sr.) of Saucier, MS, and brother Anthony “Tony” Easterling, of Perkinston, MS, who was also his best friend. He was a loyal son-in-law to Rose Skelton and a loving brother-in-law to Anthony Skelton (Patti), Dominic Skelton, Terésa Hebert (Stephen), Mark Skelton (Patty), Damian Skelton (Leslie), and Juliana Skelton. Aaron was the favorite Uncle to thirty nieces and nephews, several of whom called him “Uncle Irby” with great affection. As his family grew, he enjoyed sharing life experiences with all sixteen of his great nephews and nieces. Aaron had many friends whom he considered family. As for Donald Ray Holliman and Keith McKnight, he loved them like brothers.
Aaron was preceded in death by his father, Hubert Franklin Easterling, and by both sets of his grandparents.
Funeral services will be Saturday, January 9, 2021 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 8343 Woolmarket Road, Biloxi, MS, beginning at 9:30 am for visitation followed by a Memorial Mass at 11 am.
In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial donation to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, or the MWFP Foundation Super Hunt, which provides a deer hunt for youth with disabilities.
