Hubert """"Tot"""" Cuevas, age 77, of the Lizana Community, died Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at home.
Mr. Cuevas was a life-long resident of the MS Gulf Coast. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was of the Catholic faith. He was loved by all that knew him and will be greatly missed. He had a heart of gold and would do anything for anybody.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Jones Cuevas; parents, Sidney and Bertie Cuevas; brother, Edgar A. Cuevas; and sister-in-law, Virgie Cuevas. Survivors include his three children, Robert (Sue) Cuevas, Rebecca Cuevas and Jo Ann (David) Allen; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Sidney A. (Shirley) Cuevas.
Visitation will be Friday, March 20, 2009 from 7 until 9 p.m. at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11213 Highway 49 North in Gulfport. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Wolf River Cemetery.
