Howard """"Pete"""" Norton, age 79 and a resident of Perkinston, died on Sunday, June 27, 2010, in Gulfport.
Mr. Norton was a resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast for the past 60 years, and he retired from Dupont after 30 years of service.
Mr. Norton was preceded in death by his parents, Joel Norton & Dicey McLain; his step-daughter, Rebecca; 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Ann Norton; his children, Howard, Jr., Betty Sue, Paula Ann, Sandra, Paul, Jr., Mike, John, Laura Sue, and Robert; his sister, Martha and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 30, 2010, from 6pm-9pm at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11213 Highway 49 North in Gulfport.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, July 1, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
