Mr. Howard L. """"Johnny"""" Morgan, age 67, resident of Saucier, passed away on Friday, February 02, 2007, in Saucier.
Mr. Morgan was born in Bastrop, Louisiana to the late Howard Lee Morgan and Gladys O'Neal Morgan. He worked at Sears and Roebuck Co. for twenty-five years until his retirement in 1992. He was a New Orleans Saints faithful and was an avid bass fisherman. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor and love that he showed to his wife of 46 years, Mary, his children, grandchildren, siblings, and other family and friends.
Mr. Morgan was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Marilyn Holt, and a niece, Mary Jane Skinner.
He is survived by his wife, Mary V. Morgan of Saucier; children, Shelia Weekley of Saucier, Margaret Morgan of Gulfport, Beverly O'Connell of Colorado Springs, CO and her husband, Larry, and John Morgan of Saucier and his wife, Tabitha; brother, Robert Morgan of Saucier and his wife, Carla; sister, Anne Hoffmann of Mt. Prospect, IL and her husband, Jim; grandchildren, Daniel, Ryan, Shannon, Amie, Nathan, Nicholas, Colt, Hannah, Luke, Mitch, Rachel, Christina, Alex, Derrick, and Dillon; and four great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, February, 6, 2007, at Saucier United Methodist Church, at 3:30 p.m. Friends may visit an hour and half prior to services at the church. Burial will follow at Saucier Cemetery.
The family prefers memorials to the Palmer Creek Methodist Campground, c/o Saucier United Methodist Church, 24135 Church Ave., Saucier, MS 39574.
