Howard D. Harger, 78, of Biloxi passed away Thursday, April 19, 2012 in Biloxi.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served as an Engineer Supervisor with the Seabees. He was a member of the 1st Assembly of God Church in Gulfport.
He was the beloved husband of Hilda Lavon (Freeman) Harger, and father of daughters Robin M. Ezell (John) of Dexter, MO, Cheryl A. Tasker (David) of Diamondhead, MS, and sons Kerry D. Harger of Biloxi, Dennis A. Harger (Karen) of Bassfield, MS, and Christopher M. Harger of Biloxi; and grandfather of eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Glen T. Harger of Laurel, MS; his parents; brothers, Ronald, Max, Bob, and Rickie; and sisters, Dean ""Edith"", Edwina, and Jimmie.
He is also survived by brothers Wendell Harger of Albuquerque, NM, Roland Harger of Daphne, AL, and sisters Claudette Jackson of Seminole, FL and Brenda Shott of Las Lunas, NM.
A graveside service was held on Monday, April 23, 2012 at Biloxi National Cemetery. RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME in Biloxi assisted the family. The obituary may be viewed and memories shared at www.riemannfamily.com
