Homer Ray Baggett, age 79 of Gulfport, died on Wednesday, February 14, 2007 in Gulfport.
Mr. Bryant was a native of Stone County. He was a former District Manager for Jim Walter Corporation and he served in the United States Marine Corps.
Mr. Baggett is preceded in death by his wife Mary Baggett, his parents, Thomas and Corrine Baggett, his brother, Fred Baggett and mother-in-law, Catherine Sambola.
He is survived by his son James """"Jim"""" Baggett of Gulfport; Brenda Ann Roessling, Cheryl A. (Ronnie) Dewey of Gulfport; his sister, Nora McInnis of Atlanta, GA; his brother, Tommy L. Baggett of Wiggins, MS; 6 grandchildren, Jason, Justin, Jared Dewey and Carie Ann Cole, Shellie Wescovich, James """"Jamie"""" E. Baggett, Jr.; and one great granddaughter, Taya Baggett and Sheila Baggett.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 18, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at the Riemann family's GULF COAST FUNERAL HOME, Three Rivers Road Chapel in Gulfport, where friends may visit 2 hours prior to service.
Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Gulfport. An online guestbook may be signed at www.gulfcoastfh.com.
