Homan Anthony "Pete" Peterman, age 72, passed away Sunday, April 23, 2017 in Gulfport.
He was a longtime resident of Gulfport. Mr. Peterman graduated from Harrison Central High School, Nashville Diesel School and received numerous other certifications, throughout his life. He worked off-shore as a Head Gager for Odeco and Murphy Oil. Mr. Peterman was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed boating, camping and putting his feet in the sand.
Mr. Peterman was preceded in death by his parents, Homan and Joyce Peterman; his son, Christopher Kelly; his first wife, Patricia Gartman Peterman; and his brother, Randolph Peterman.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Cathy Peterman of Gulfport; three sons, H. Anthony "Tony" (Olga) Peterman, James Michael "Mike" (Pam) Peterman and Joshua Peterman; sister, Bobbinell (Rance) Lynch; four grandchildren, Christopher Peterman, Ryan Peterman, Christina Peterman and Carter McWilliams; and one great-grandchild, Connor Peterman.
Pete was an amazing father and husband, who cherished his family. He was furiously loyal to his loved ones and friends, as well as devoting countless hours helping those that needed it.
