Hilton Ginn

Hilton Eugene aÌ‚â‚Å“Smokeyâ₝ Ginn went home to be with his Lord on Saturday, November 10, 2007 in Gunter, Texas. He was born October 26, 1919 in Kokomo, Mississippi to Otho Eugene Ginn and Eula McGowan Ginn. He was employed for many years as Plant Superintendent at Gulf Naval Stores in Gulfport, Mississippi and Nocatee, Florida. He moved to Richardson, Texas in 1972 where he was employed as a Construction Project Manager until his retirement. He was a member of Heights Baptist Church, Richardson, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 65 years, Bertha Lee Brunt Ginn, and his sister, Dorothy Rawls.
He is survived by his three sons, Hilton Wayne Ginn and wife, Edna Marie Jones Ginn of Dallas, Texas; Gary Christopher Ginn and wife, Patricia Carol Hoyle Ginn of Jacksonville, Florida; Jon Stephen Ginn and wife, Pamela Marie Hingst Ginn of River Heights, Utah; Five grandchildren, Gregory Wayne Ginn and wife, Jody Lynn Good Ginn of Plano, Texas; Lindsey Michelle Ginn Shedd and husband, Ryan Shedd of Mcclenny, FL; Jason Michael Ginn of Dallas, Texas; Rebekah Suzanne Ginn Kooch and husband, Nicholas Anthony Kooch of Jacksonville, FL; and Jocelyn Peace Ginn of River Heights, Utah; Five great-grandchildren, Jessica Maree Ginn, Candace Lynn Ginn and Brittany Lee Ginn of Plano, Texas; Carson Shedd and Austin Shedd of Mcclenny, FL.
Visitation will be from 12:00 until 1:30 p.m., Saturday, November 17, 2007 at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, MS. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Gulfport. The family wishes to thank the compassionate and caring staff at Hilltop Haven where he lived for the past nine months.
