Hilda Ruth McClellan, age 81, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 24, 2019, in Ocean Springs, MS.
She was born in Smith County, MS, on September 28, 1937, and had been a resident of Ocean Springs, MS, for about 54 years. Hilda married Jerry McClellan on March 13, 1959, in Taylorsville, MS. Her family and friends will always remember her loving nature and will keep her in their hearts.
Hilda was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry McClellan on April 6, 2018; her parents, Otis Grice and Merle Sullivan Grice and her sister, Barbara Potts.
She is survived by her daughter, Karen Sumrall (Rusty); her daughter Kerry Mazur (Leonard); her son, Mark McClellan (Darcy); her daughter, Sharon Barnes; her grandchildren: Ashley Sumrall, Michael McClellan, Krystal Fagan, Bryan McClellan, Grace Duric, Paul Mazur, Shane Sumrall, Ashton Barnes, Christian Barnes, Victoria McClellan, Laura Faith Mazur; her great-grandchildren: Jackson Mazur Smith, Cooper Catchot, Sophie Catchot and Kash Fagan.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 2, 2019, with the memorial service starting at 11:00 AM at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd., at Washington Ave. in West Jackson County.. Interment will be in Crestlawn Memorial Park.
