Hilda Mary McArthur, age 86, of Biloxi, died Saturday, February 16, 2008 in Ocean Springs.
Mrs. McArthur was born in Bayou LaBatre, Alabama, but had been a resident of Biloxi since the mid forties. She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Marvin Curtis McArthur; and her parents, Phelan and Maude (Demoran) Bosarge.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Kay Rice and husband, Bill of Gautier; daughter, Elaine Rogers and her friend, Don Fiellin of Mary Esther, Florida; daughter, Marian """"Dollie"""" Waldrop and husband, Dennis of Ocean Springs; one sister, Estelle Mallette of Grand Bay, Alabama; granddaughter, Renee Rogers of Oakland Park, Florida; grandson, Neil Woodbury and wife, Nicole; granddaughter, Kellie Parker and husband, Andy; grandson, Zachary Waldrop; great-granddaughter, Kaydence Parker; great-granddaughter, Daiten Woodbury; and great-grandson, Colson Woodbury, all of Ocean Springs.
Mrs. McArthur was a homemaker while her children were small but later worked at various seafood factories that were located in Biloxi. She enjoyed fishing, crabbing and gardening. She later became a member of the Biloxi Senior Citizens Center on Point Cadet in Biloxi where she enjoyed the fellowship of the members, making crafts, the seasonal parties and field trips.
Although her life here with us has ended, her legacy will continue in her children, grandchildren and friends.

A Celebation of Life Service will be held at 12 Noon, Monday, February 18, 2008 at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi, where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at the Bayou Caddy Cemetery in Lakeshore, MS.
