Hilda Lizana

Hilda Lizana, age 90, of Diamondhead, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2024.

She is preceded in death by parents, Author and Hazel Broome; husband, Harold Lizana; son, James Lizana.

Hilda was survived by her children, Susan White, Barbara Hitchman (Derrel), Kathryn Moran (Alan), Matthew Lizana (Jeanne) and Regina Monica; grandchildren, Lee Miller, Jason Miller, Priscilla McKay, Tommy Moran, Jacob Moran, Scott Hitchman, Kristin Mate, Matthew Lizana, Amanda Monica, and Sarah Monica; great-grandchildren, Kameron, Kelbie, J.D., Colstin, JJ, Saydi, Ashton, Bailey, Lucas, Gage, Kayla, Brianna, Braeden, Grayson, Liam. 

Hilda was a native of Columbia, MS. She was the owner of Pineville Nursery and had many awards for her plants and orchids. Hilda was extremely proud of all 6 children. She enjoyed reading, gardening (loved flowers), and playing Bunco. She was in a garden club and a member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm, Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 :00 pm. 

The family will be meeting at our Riemann Family Funeral Home, Pass Christian at 8:50 am, Wednesday, June 26, 2024, to go in procession to Biloxi National Cemetery.
