Hester Desporte Tierce, age 88 and a resident of Biloxi, passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2011 in Gulfport.
Mrs. Tierce was a long time member of Bay View Baptist Church, and was a member of the Copper Pennies Card Club, and TOPS.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Tierce, Sr., and her son, Herman Schneider.
She is survived by her children, William Tierce, Jr. and wife Gale, of Helena, Alabama, Emmitt J. Tierce and wife Amy, of Boston, Massachusetts, Deborah A. Napier and husband Thomas, of Gulfport, and Kim T. Nolen and husband Thurston, of Gulfport; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Friends are invited to visit on Sunday, November 6, 2011 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Rd, Biloxi.
Memorial donations may be made to Bay Vista Baptist Church, 2485 Pass Rd, Biloxi, MS 39531.
