Herman Waltman

Herman Lee Waltman, September 18,1936 - August 26, 2021

Herman Lee Waltman, age 84, passed away Thursday, August 26th, 2021.  He was a life long resident of Gulfport, MS and had retired from Colonial Bakery.

Herman was preceded in death by wife, Peggy L. Waltman, and his sister, Ruby Lumpkin.

He is survived by his four children, Cheryl Culberson(Alvin), Randy Waltman (Mary), Jani Headrick (Hal) and Jeffrey Waltman (Becky); thirteen grandchildren, Tania Brady, Cossondra Malicoat, Johnny Williams (BJ), Randall Waltman, Mitchell Waltman, Branden Waltman, Jessica Alexander, Jennie Bond, Angie Fuentes, Sara Behrendt, Amber Waltman, Ryan Waltman and Chaz Waltman, several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, and his beloved dog Brody; as well as other relatives and friends.

Herman was a wonderful father and family man, who loved spending time with his kids and grandchildren and Brody.  He was a hard working man and, when he retired from Colonial Bakery, he started a small lawn care business that he ran for years. He was such an unselfish man, and always willing to help others.  In his younger years, he was an avid bowler and his other hobbies included cutting grass, fishing and sitting on the front porch with Brody.
