Henry ""Hank"" Wisniewski, age 93, peacefully passed away on Friday, February 24, 2012 at 10:22 am with his family at his side.
He left a legacy of four children, Thomas Wisniewski and wife Sandi, Renetta Pavot and husband Paul, Robert Wisniewski, and Annette Midland and husband Jack. He is also survived by his eleven grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Dolores Wisniewski.
He was born November 23, 1918 in Chicago, IL. Henry married Dolores on October 4, 1941 in Chicago. After serving in the United States Navy, he was a self-made Business owner that ran a successful warehousing business. Henry enjoyed fishing and retirement, living an active life with his wife Dolores in Door County, WI, Mario Island, FL, and Pass Christian. He belonged to the men's club in Marco Island, fishing clubs, bridge clubs, but was really known for his love of Fishing. After Hurricane Katrina, he rebuilt his home here in the Pass and lived the remaining years of his life enjoying the coast, fishing, and playing bridge with his Long Beach Bridge Club.
The funeral service will be held Sunday, February 26, 2012 at 2:00 pm at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Long Beach.
