Henry Wintzell, Sr.

Henry Joseph Wintzell, Sr. passed courgeously at his home Sunday, June 24th at the age of 55.
He was a native of Louisiana for 35 years prior to moving to Mississippi. He was a 1980 graduate of Prytania Private School. Henry was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer January 2017 which eventually spread to his liver.
Henry was a loving, loyal, faithful husband, father, brother, son, grandfather, nephew, cousin, and friend to many. He was a God-fearing faithful servant. He was steadfast in his walk with the Lord and a devoted Brother-in-Christ. He attended Northwood Church.
Henry was preceded in death by his beloved brother Charles; his father, the late Charles Sr; his mother, the late Louise Wintzell; and his infant daughter Jessica Wintzell.
He is grieved by his beloved wife Joyce of 31 years; his son Henry Joseph Jr; his daughter in law Brooke; and 3 grandsons Saylor, Cohen, and Harrison; his daughter Brittany Wintzell Strebeck and son in law Jordan; and his daughter, Kaitlyn Wintzell.
He is also survived by his sister in law Kim Wintzell-Prine, niece Megan Wintzell and great nephew Bentlee; nephew Charles (Bubba) Wintzell III, his wife Summer, and great niece Charleigh.
He had dedicated work ethics throughout his life's journey.  His most recent successful business endeavors includes Biloxi, MS located Slap Ya Momma's Smokehouse & BBQ and Wentzels Seafood restaurants.
Henry will be forever missed by a plethora of family and friends, and especially his beloved work  'family' ~~ He treasured each and every staff team member and valued their loyal  bond.
The funeral service will be held on Monday, July 2, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi with a visitation for family and friends from 9:30 AM until the service. Burial will follow at 2:30 PM at St. Bernard Memorial Gardens, 701 W Virtue Street, Chalmette, LA 70043.
