Henrietta "Nan" Newman

Henrietta Tanner “Nan” Newman, age 90, of Woolmarket, passed away on November 24, 2020.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Edward “Bill” Newman, Jr.; her parents, Raymond and Josephine Tanner; a brother, Raymond Tanner, Jr.

Mrs. Newman is survived by her daughter, Jo Tiblier Williamson and her husband, Roger “Mac”; a son, Raymond Edward Newman and his wife Susan Newman; a grandson, Christopher Corey Tiblier (John Gutierrez); her sisters, Dottie Garner, Hazel Joyce Lee, and Mary Jane Clark (Danny); and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

She was a faithful member of Woolmarket Baptist Church. She worked with her daughter as a floral designer at Always and Forever Florist in D’Iberville. She enjoyed painting and was always willing to help anyone in need.

A private service will be held at the Biloxi National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials be mast to Woolmarket Baptist Church Food Pantry, 12816 Lorraine Road, Biloxi, MS 39532 or a food pantry of your choice.
