Helen Lightell, age 81, of Gulfport, passed away on January 15, 2012 in Gulfport.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Elmer Reagan; and three brothers, Devon Reagan, Ray Alexander, and Murray Alexander.
She is survived by her husband, Dexter R. Lightell of Gulfport; her children, Sandra Jordan (James), Linda Shaw, and Debbie Smith (Don), all of Poplarville, Danny T. Buckalew (Dara) of Vancleave, and Dexter Lightell, Jr of Slidell, LA; a sister, Bobbie Straw; eleven grandchildren; sisteen great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
She was a member of Bel Aire Baptist Church, Gulfport. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, she will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11213 Hwy 49, Gulfport with a visitation from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Finley Cemetery, Gulfport.
