Helen Mooton Fillingame Ladner

Helen Mooton Ladner, age 84 and a resident of Gulfport, died on Wednesday, June 25, 2008, in Gulfport.
Mrs. Ladner was a lifelong resident of the MS Gulf Coast and was a charter member of First Baptist Church in Lizana. She was well loved and respected by all those who knew her.
Mrs. Ladner is preceded in death by her parents, James & Mollie Fillingame; her husband, Houston Ladner and her four sisters, Lorena Bourn, Mae Bass, Peggy Hill, and Clarace Odom.
She is survived by her two sons, James Edward (Maggie) Ladner of Lizana, and Bobby S. (Kathy) Ladner of Picayune; her daughter, Geraldine (Kenneth) Archey of Benndale; her sister, Jean Shelton of Burleson, TX; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2008, at First Baptist Church of Lizana at 3:00pm, where friends may visit two hours prior to the service. Burial will follow at Ladner Cemetery.
