Helen Bowman Kafader, 82, passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2006 in Gulfport. Mrs. Kafader was born in Salt Lake City, Utah and was a recent resident of Biloxi. Mrs. Kafader was married to Paul Kafader for 30 years, before his death in 1991.
She is survived by four daughters, Olva Malloy of Atlanta, GA, Kistie Johnson of Gulfport, Lori Moss and Tracy Erickson, both of Denver, CO, and two sons, Vaughn Seegmiller of Oregon, and Kerry Kafader of Biloxi. Mrs. Kafader is also survived by 16 grandchildern, and 12 great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family and all of her many close friends.
Mrs. Kafader enjoyed her travels to Mexico, experiencing foreign culture, and contributing to the care and welfare of her friends and neighbors while in Denver, CO. She was pleased to have lived on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and especially enjoyed participating in the annual parade of lights on the Mississippi Sound and other family events here. She felt that Mississippi was her home.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 02, 2006 at 5:00 p.m. at Gulf Coast Funeral Homes, Inc., Three Rivers Road Chapel in Gulfport, friends may visit one hour prior to the service.
