Helen Jones

Helen Brown Jones, 84, of Wiggins died Monday, January 9, 2005 in Wiggins.
She was a native of Wiggins but lived most of her life in Gulfport. She worked for many years and retired from Hewes Brothers in Gulfport. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Wiggins and was active in the Wiggins Senior Citizens Center. She enjoyed quilting, ceramics, cooking, spending time with her sisters and family and especially riding the """"little bus.""""
She was preceded in death by her husband, KC Jones; son, Harold Jones; parents, Emmitt and Emma Jones; 2 brothers: Robert Brown and Vernon Brown; 2 sisters: Mary Breland and Gladys Bolding.
Survivors include her children: Dianne (David) Shoemake and Larry (Gloria) Jones, both of Gulfport and Kenneth (Amelda) Jones, Biloxi; 2 sisters: Ida Mae Cuevas (Joe) and Ann Barber, sister-n-law Jeanie Brown all of Wiggins; 4 grandchildren: Kenny Jones, Jr., Shawn (Lorin) Jones, Chad Shoemake, and Derek Shoemake.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 12, 2006 from 6-8 pm at Trinity United Methodist Church, Lawson Ave, Gulfport. The funeral service will be 10 am Friday at Trinity United Methodist Church.
Interment will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
