Helen Earline Necaise, age 81 of Long Beach, passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2020.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar Earl Lacy and Frances Lacy; her sisters, Patsy Beckham and Margaret Yarbrough; her brother, Henry “Buddy” Lacy; her nephew, Robert Beckham; her grandson, Tyler Debenport; and her great grandsons, Ayden and Ashtyn Ulrich.
Helen is survived by her children, Sharon Spiers (Steve), Connie Debenport, Judy McQueen (Butch), Jimmye Ulrich(Steve); her siblings, Betty Yarbrough and Frances McClantoc; her grandchildren, Jamie (Hetty) Spiers, Lacye O’Bryan, Courtney Debenport, Lynzye Debenport, Dexter McQueen, Jessica (Justin) Osbon, Dylan (Jacqueline) Ulrich, Colby (Carey) Waites; 20 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and many more nieces and nephews.
She was a native of Pass Christian and earned an Associate Degree at Jackson County Junior College. She worked at De L’epee Deaf Center and Harrison County Department of Human Services. Helen was an advocate for the Deaf Community.
She enjoyed traveling, gardening, and spending time with her family. Helen was a big fan of Elvis Presley and was a member of the Red Hat Society.
There will a graveside service at Evergreen Cemetery at 10am on Sunday, January 3, 2021.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to fight Alzheimers.
