Helen L. Dunkerly

Helen L. Dunkerly, age 63 of Diamondhead, MS, died on Sunday, March 8, 2009, in Gulfport, MS.
Mrs. Dunkerly was a native of Baltimore, MD and had been a resident of Diamondhead for the past 15 years. She attended Diamondhead Baptist Church.
Mrs. Dunkerly is preceded in death by her parents, John & Sadie Brown Moore; two sisters, Dorothy & Gladys and a brother, James.
She is survived by her loving husband, Francis """"Mike"""" X. Dunkerly, Jr., of Diamondhead; her children, Charlene Dunkerly of Baltimore, Richard Brown of Pasadena, MD, and Thomas Brown of Churchill, MD; her stepchildren, Francis X. Dunkerly, III, Nancy Wampler, Kathleen Kirby all of Baltimore, Martin Dunkerly of Glen Burnie, MD and Robert Dunkerly of Diamondhead; two sisters, Florence M. Downing of Leesville, LA and Linda Martin of Glen Burnie; 16 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 9113 Kiln-DeLisle Road in Pass Christian, where friends may visit one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Dunkerly will then be sent to Kaufman Funeral Home in Elksridge, MD for burial at Meadowridge Memorial Park.
