Heidi Ann Peterson, age 13 and a resident of the Kiln, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2009 in the Kiln.
Heidi was a native and life long resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. She was a student of Hancock Middle School, and loved horseback riding, singing and dancing. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Joseph D. Saucier; and her paternal grandfather, Mavin (Papa Pedro) Peterson; her maternal great grandparents, Howard and Irma Cuevas, and Danishany (Dutch) and Annie Jennings Saucier; her paternal great-grandparents, Melvin and Willie E. Cuevas, and Avin and Ethel Peterson.
Survivors include her mother Sherry A. Saucier (Rusty L.) Peterson; her father, Wayne M. Peterson; her brothers and sisters, Christa and Cody Head, Tiara, Chaz, Tanaia, Blake, and McKenzie Peterson; her maternal grandparents, Christopher and Charmaine Cuevas, and Sue Saucier; her paternal grandparents, Willa Mae Peterson, Linda Sue Peterson, McCoy Peterson, and Linda McKay; and numerous other loving family members and friends.
Memorial contributions may be sent to the Heidi Peterson Memorial Fund, at any branch of Hancock Bank.
Visitation will be held from 6-10pm on Saturday, August 29, 2009, at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 9113 Kiln-Delisle Road in Pass Christian.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at on Sunday, August 30, 2009, at 10:00am, in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Wolf River Cemetery. For more information, please call (228)586-0510.
