Hazel Breland Szetela, age 87 and a resident of Gulfport, died Friday, April 18, 2008, in Gulfport.
Mrs. Szetela was a native of Pearl River County and a lifelong resident of the Gulfport/Biloxi area. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Szetela; son-in-law, Russell Peterman; parents, John and Corine Breland; sister, Laura Perrone; and brother, Selmer Breland. Survivors include her daughter, Alice Peterman, of Gulfport; siblings, Helen Smith, of Gulfport; Dennis Breland, of Vancleave; and Willie Daniels, of Dayton, Ohio; 6 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11213 Hwy 49 North in Gulfport, on Monday, April 21, 2008, from 9:30 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. A graveside service will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. in the National Cemetery in Biloxi.
