Hazel O'Brian Stone

Hazel O'Brian Stone, age 72, of Saucier, went home to be with her Lord Jesus on Wednesday, September 19, 2012, in Gulfport.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Effie Betts, several brothers and sisters, grandsons, Johnny Brezeal Walker, Russell Herbert Stone, and Timmy Laird, and great-grandson, Caleb Beaver.
Survivors include her children, Daniel (Nu Ly) Holt, Sandra (Scott) Laird, Sheila Stone, and Michelle Lowe, 8 grandchildren, April (Owen) Beaver, Russell Stone, Willie Walker, Jr., Dustin Stone, Sarah Carter, Chris Laird, Scott Laird, Jr., and Chris Walker, 12 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives, and her beloved 16 year old puppy ""Peppy"" who passed away the same week.
Mrs. Stone was a member of Northwood Church in Gulfport and she was a loving, caring, giving, and kind person. She was a loving mother and grandmother who loved hugging everyone and sharing her love.
Visitation will be Monday, September 24, 2012, from 9:30 - 10:30 am at Northwood Church, O'Neal Rd., Gulfport. The funeral service will be at 10:30 am in the church.
Interment will be in Rouse Cemetery.
