Hazel Lafont Russo, age 87, of Pass Christian, passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2011, in Gulfport.
Mrs. Russo was a native of New Orleans and had been a resident of the coast over 30 years. She and her husband loved to spend time with each other riding to various places and just sharing time with each other.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, William Russo, a daughter, Carol Ann Ladner, a brother, Raymond Lafont, and a sister, Betty Auzine.
Survivors include her daughter, Kathleen Boyer, 10 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, 2 brothers, Earl Lafont and Donald Auzine, and numerous other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be 9 am on Monday, August 15, 2011, at Southern Memorial Park, Biloxi, MS.
